Trying something new

Jo-Ann Fabrics was having a sale on their McCall patterns. They were only 99 cents! So... I decided to try to make a skirt, it's the first time I've made clothes. I think it turned out pretty good!

Quilting Challenge

For this quilting challenge from my quilting group we are to make a 12X12 wall hanging using hand quilting. It also must have a basket and flowers. I started with this first one here, but was disappointed with the contrast between the pinks and the browns.

Thus, I began a new one. I finished quilting this one today at our "Sew the Day Away" gathering. I also did trapunto quilting for the first time, but only on the butterfly and basket.

New Stuff!

These are some earrings I made at Panopolie today.

This is a bag I made last week. It was the first time I sewed a zipper, it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be.

Headbands
