Linda gave me a bunch of fabric to make some quilts for
Project Linus. I haven't had as much time as I've wanted to sew, but I will have a lot of time this summer to finish the nine blankets I got the material for!
I did get to finish one! It is a
rag quilt. I'm making three others just like it. I love this quilt because it's cute and so easy to make!
This is a quilt my mom started over 30 years ago. This summer I plan to quilt it and put binding on it! I started this past weekend with two of the block.
Another thing I'm working on this year is a block of the month from my favorite quilt store,
Bernina. Each month we get material and directions to make another block.
I bought this fabric a while ago, but haven't worked on this project in a while. This one you won't see until I enter it into the
North Carolina State Fair in October!
My quilting group is doing challenges again! Hurray! This time we're going to do a summer themed project. I want to do a beach scene. I have some beach things to paper piece and applique! We'll see how this turns out.
