Quilts
I have begun try to make a One Block Wonder quilt. A tip to keep all the triangles the same...draw on the ruler with a overhead marker.
This is the design wall I made with two of the One Block Wonder experiments on it.
It turned out pretty good, so I started a quilt like this...still cutting the fabric.
I am teaching a workshop for my quilt group in September. Here is the table runner we will be making.
This is a workshop that Lori taught. We are ready for St. Patrick's Day.

Photography Class
In my photography class we are having a competition on the last day, and the teacher has promised "valuable prizes." I have to say that I am skeptical because he is a bit sarcastic at times, but here are the two that I'm going to print for the class. The first one is of my sewing machine foot and the second is of the train at Pullen Park.

Fabric Flowers and Roses
I went to a class by Frieda Anderson. We learned how to make Field Poppies. I'm not done yet, but look how pretty they look!
My rose bush is finally blooming! Look at my pretty flowers.

The Latest
We had a clasped purse workshop tonight with my quilting group. It turned out really cute!
I have been experimenting with cupcakes.
This is my favorite new pattern. It is called a disappearing nine patch.
I didn't want to quilt it, so I attached it with buttons.

I finally finished my turtle. He needs a name....any ideas?
I went to an earring class at Ornamentea on Friday night. So much fun and I made 7 pairs of earrings.

Kathryn is getting a new puppy, so I made her a little doggie blanket.
Here are some coasters and magnets I made for some friends.
I got these lilies two years ago, and they still bloom every year.
